Thread Veins
​​​​​​​Thread veins can appear anywhere on the face or body and have several causes such as excessive exposure to the sun over the years, a sign of rosacea or they can be inherited.
We treat thread veins on the face, body or legs using our powerful Fotona Nd:YAG Laser System or our Aria IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) System.
This treatment will involve the therapist applying laser or light to the skin in order to achieve the desired result. The treatment selectively destroys targeted vessels while minimising damage to the surrounding tissue as with most forms of laser treatment more than one is required.
Facial Veins
The small superficial red, purple or blue veins which appear most often on face and legs are called thread veins (or Telangiectasia). DermaVita has to different light based treatments to produce the best results.
Short wavelength intense pulsed light (IPL) to target superficial thread veins and Rosacea and a long-pulsed Nd:YAG laser to treat superficial and deep red, purple or blue veins
Leg Veins
These are very common, especially among woman. They can affect people at all ages and for a variety of reasons. Thread veins and reticular veins can be treated at DermaVita by a combination of intense pulsed light (IPL) and long pulsed Nd:YAG laser.
