Laser Hair Reduction.

Using a long-pulsed Nd:YAG laser to provide highly effective hair reduction for all skin types. The Nd:YAG is considered to be the safest laser for darker skin types, especially for the treatment of skin type VI. Reduced melanin absorption means that skin penetration depths are relatively high, enabling the laser energy to easily cause lethal follicular damage and remove hair long-term.

The Long-Pulsed Nd:YAG Laser has the longest wavelength of all the lasers which allows a decreased affinity for absorption in the epidermal melanin. Reduced absorption results in less skin heating in comparison to other hair reduction systems, therefore, there is a lower associated risk of epidermal damage.

Lasers provide the most effective method of hair reduction, reaching even the most deep seated hair follicles. Our Nd:YAG laser is one of the best in the industry to target unwanted hair which is dark in colour.

We recommend having treatments every 4 to 6 weeks this way we have a better chance of catching the hair during its growing phase.

If your hair is dark in colour then that is perfect for laser hair reduction, unfortunately if your hair is white, grey or very fair the laser treatment will be ineffective so we would not recommend having laser treatment.
